A couple of things have happened in that time though, manly, I booked my flight to leave Melbourne for June 9th to meet up Makenna. It is official. This week I will be giving my two weeks notice to my gymnastics job and Electric already knows when my last weekend is. Makenna and I have also settled on renting a campervan to do all of our traveling through a company called Hippie Campervans. Fitting. They are actually super cool and literally come with everything you could think to need, primarily a bed, fridge, stove and cooking equipment as well as linens. We are both so excited to meet up and I think we are both a bit lonely and miss having one another so this will be an awesome way to end our time in Australia. Also, since my last post I have gotten a little head cold that has become quite annoying more then anything.. I went and bought some medicine the other day but its still lingering.
The only other thing that is half interesting from my everyday mundane tasks of livings, is that I have continued to hang out with Matt. Last night we went and saw the new Star Trek in the city center which was the first time I had been into the city in probably a month and a half - if not longer.. It was quite a good movie and I am glad I got to go since we had a really good time hanging out again.
It is continually getting colder and colder here in Melbourne and I now have realized I am perpetually cold unless I am A: in bed, or B: in the shower and occasionally C: at work. Every other time of day or night i am frozen. So I really cannot wait to get to Cairns, get a tan, and put on some shorts or maybe just to not have to wear two pairs of socks all the time.
Honestly, that is everything I can think of that is worth updating you all on. Once I am on the road with Makenna I will have many more entertaining things to share so stay tuned for that around June 9th!
